FAMILY!!!  I hope that you all had a great week!  Holy cow I was super nervous for Brasil!  Julio Cesar put the team on his back tho.  Great keeper!  The US plays tomorrow. Cant wait!!!

This week was a good one!  We have been finding new people to teach.  We do a lot of contacts in front of the new chapel.  It should open up here in about two weeks which will be great.  It is a lot closer to our house.  Yesterday we were stoppin cars, bikes and people and talking to them about the church! hahah it was a great time.

The mission president changed this week.  We will meet the new president on Wednesday cuz that is when we are going to Floripa.

Marcos and Mara are doing great still.

Short email this week, but I love you all!  I hope that you have a great week!!!

FAMILY!!!  How are you all doin??  USA got a great win against Ghana but I cant believe the score from yesterday!!  I cant believe that they gave them 5 minutes of stoppage time.  But oh well, we will still pass the group!  Brasil plays today so things will get crazy!!

Things are going really good here!  We visited Sebastião and Sonia.  They are super happy from their decision to get married.  They came to church on Sunday and had a great time.  We taught them about the word of wisdom and they have no problem with it.  We will plan sebastião's baptism for here in about two weeks.

Castro went to the hospital with swollen tonsils.  I stayed with Marcos our investigator for almost 3 hours talking about tons of things.  He is a great guy!  He is just waiting for the temple to get dedicated for him to get baptized.  We taught him and Mara this week about ordinances and our works.  They enjoyed it a lot.  Marcos always has tons of questions so it keeps it interesting.

Also, last week we made a contact with this lady named Vera.  We decided to go back and visit her and her family on saturday.  She lives with her son Leonardo and her daughter Naiara.  We taught them the first lesson and the spirit was incredibly strong.  Naiara was in tears as we talked about the first vision.  They loved the message and accepted the invite to be baptized.  We will go visit them again this week.

I love you all!!  Stay strong and have a great week!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUST!!!  I love you bro!!

FAMILY!!!  I hope that you are all doing great and had a chance to watch some of the world cup games!!  hahahah we had a blast watching the Brasil game at Bishops house.  Brasil didnt deserve that penalty and Croatia played their hearts out, but it was cool seeing Brasil get the win and everyone go crazy!! hahah.

So Sebastião and Sonia got married this week!  It was a great wedding.  They did it out on their ranch with just a few friends.  It was great!  We will go back and visit them this week and try to mark Sebastião's baptism for next saturday along with his son Antonio.

Marcos and Mara are doing really well.  Marcos is full of questions and loves learning more about the church.  We are still waiting for the new chapel to get finished and dedicated for him to get baptized.

We are visiting William and Lucilany still.  They are a great couple expecting a baby here in about a month.  I told them to name it Howard, but that didnt fly ;) hahah.  We are going to a Cookies family night with them this week and we will talk to them about their wedding as well.  We want to start getting all their paperwork ready cuz it takes a little while.

I love you all and hope that you have a great week!!  USA plays tonight, be sure to cheer loud for me ;)  Brasil plays tomorrow!!  It is so dope being in the country of the cup!  We are making the most of it!

FAMILY!!!  This week was a great one!  No more trips to the hospital :) hahah.  We went to Floripa and had our last meeting with President.  This week we have our last mission conference with him on Friday.  He is leaving the mission on the 27th of this month.  Also, THE WORLD CUP STARTS THIS WEEK and things are getting crazy here!!  We already have a BBQ planned at the bishops house to watch the game.  It will be fantastic!!!

We visited Lucilany and William this week.  They invited his mom and sister to hear our message as well.  It went really good and they are great people,. they just have a hard time getting up for church.  It rained nonstop from Friday until Sunday and so it was hard for a bunch of people to go to church.

We visited this family named Antonio, Cleici and Bianca.  They are super Baptist but let us in to hear our message. They listened as we used mainly their bible to teach the first lesson.  We left a BOM there and they said they will read it and pray to know if Joseph is a prophet.  They are great people!!

Marcos and Mara are doing great!  Marcos still only wants to be baptized when the new chapel is dedicated (hopefully by the end of the month) but they are going to church every week.  Everyone thinks they are members already! haha

I love you all!!!  Have a great week.  Remember the incredible love that God and Christ have for us.  We will never understand in this life the infinite love they have for us.  Also, we have no idea how much God truly wants us to return to him.  He loves us.  And I love you all.

FAMILY!!!  I love you all so much and hope that you had a great week!  This week was really good here.  On Tuesday I got sick with the runs... hahah aI think it was something that I ate.  But there is this dope member named Maiko (speaks fluent english) that made me a soup and it helped a ton!  The rest of the week I was back to 100%.

Things are getting dope here with the world cup preparations.  We got the transfers this week.  I am staying with my bro Elder Castro for one more transfer and we will live with the same two elders as well.  We have a great time together!

This week I got to visit three families that I visited when I served here before.  Here are the stories:

So yesterday we went with Maiko to visit Peter and Rafaela.  I dono if you guys remember them, but it is a couple that I taught over a year ago that almost got married.  Peter is already a member, but Rafaela almost got baptized when I was here.  Well we got to visit them again and it was great!  When we were about to leave Rafaela said "Lets get me baptized before Elder Howard leaves."  That was great to hear!  They are getting married this next month and after, she plans on getting baptized.  I hope it all goes well.

I did a division with Elder Lopes in Itajai 1 and we visited Lilian who got baptized when me and Elder Hunt were here.  She is going through some hard times and we were able to leave a message talking about the Atonement using Alma 7:11-12.  It was great and I was so happy to be able to help her again.

That night we had a family pizza night with Adriana and Leonardo who got baptized when I was here as well.  That was fantastic!  They are doing great!  Leonardo is 14 and prepares the sacrament every week.  It is great to see their progress.

Well I miss you all but I am loving it back here in Itajai.  They people are so loving and we have some gret investigators (William e Lucilany, Marcos e Mara, Ricardo, Lucas e Natasha, Vera).  I cant wait for the CUP!!!  Love you all!
